Khaligraph Jones, the Kenyan rapper, has released a new song called Bongo Favour. In this song, he expresses his disappointment with the state of Tanzanian hip hop, which he says has declined since the death of Albert Mangwea, also known as Gweya. He criticizes Young Killer for failing to live up to his potential after getting married, and Roma Mkatoliki for abandoning his country.
He mocks the current Tanzanian hip-hop artists for making “choir songs” and spending more time on Instagram than on music. He advises them to seek the help of Babu Tale, the manager of Wasafi Records if they want to revive their careers.
