This guy has long overdue for the BET award, in my opinion, and deserves it more than ever. Diamond ought to be commended for all of his efforts. African voices are amazing.
The song is dedicated to lovers who struggle to pay for basic requirements.

Diamond is attempting to comfort his lover by assuring her that these difficult times will pass and that one day he will be able to afford to buy her everything she desires. He also advises her to be patient and not complain while he struggles to make ends meet and to stand by him until he succeeds. Finally, he assures her that he loves her and that he will be there for her no matter what.
